Content Writing

You can buy a blog post for five dollars, and it will read like one. What you cannot buy for five dollars is writing by somebody who can tell you which sentence loses the reader, why, and what the measurement was.

What is different

Writing with a measurement behind it

01

The first sentence, treated seriously

Most readers decide within one sentence. It is measured as its own thing rather than treated as a warm-up to the real writing.

02

Sentence length, counted

Long sentences do not sound clever, they lose people. This is measurable and it is measured on every page.

03

Reading level, chosen on purpose

Not dumbed down — matched. A technical audience and a consumer audience need different writing, and guessing which is which is how a page fails without anybody noticing.

04

Written so an answer engine can quote it

Increasingly the first answer somebody sees is not a link. A page can be indexed and never quoted, and the difference is structural.

05

Links that say where they go

Somebody scanning reads the links and almost nothing else. Eleven identical “read more” links tell them nothing.

06

No invented statistics

If a number appears, it has a source. Confident invented figures are common in cheap content and they are a liability, not a style.

The approach

Why a psychologist writes it differently

Attention and working memory, measured on the page.

Most writing advice is aesthetic: be clear, be punchy, use active voice. It is not wrong. It also cannot tell you why your page loses people at the third paragraph, because that is a question about attention and working memory rather than about style.

That question belongs to Industrial Psychology, which studies how people behave inside systems other people designed. A page is a system, and a reader moving through it is doing exactly the kind of task the field has been measuring for a century.

Reading is not passive. Every sentence asks the reader to hold something while you finish the thought, and there is a limit to how much they will hold before they stop. That limit has been measured. Writing that respects it feels effortless, and writing that ignores it feels like work — even when every individual sentence is perfectly good.

What is actually measured

  • The first sentence, on its own, because it decides whether the second is read
  • Average sentence length, and the longest one on the page
  • Reading level, matched to the audience rather than lowered by default
  • How many things the reader is asked to hold at once
  • Whether the headings form a ladder somebody could navigate by
  • Whether an answer engine could lift a correct answer straight out of it

What I will not write

Nothing spun, and nothing generated and handed over unread

AI is useful for research and for arguing with a draft. Text produced by a model and passed on unedited reads exactly like what it is, and it confidently invents facts. Everything here is written and checked by a person who is accountable for it.

No invented numbers

The single commonest failure in bought content is a statistic that traces back to nothing. If a figure appears in your copy it has a source, and if there is no good number I will say so instead of inventing one.

No keyword stuffing

It stopped working years ago and it makes a page unpleasant to read. The keyword goes where it belongs and then the page is written for a person.

How it works

I read whatever you already have and run the fourteen checks on it, so the brief starts from measurement rather than from an opinion about your tone of voice. Then a draft, then one round of revisions included. Fixed price per piece, agreed before anything starts.

If your existing writing is fine and the problem is somewhere else, I will tell you that rather than sell you a rewrite.

Who this is not for

If you need forty blog posts a month to feed a content calendar, this is the wrong service and I will say so on the first call. That work exists, it is priced accordingly, and buying it from me would be a bad trade for you.

This is for the pages that have to carry weight: the one a stranger lands on, the one that has to make an unfamiliar idea feel obvious, the one where the difference between the third-best sentence and the best one is money. Those pages are usually few, and they are usually the ones nobody has had time to write properly.

The measurable half is genuinely measurable

Reading level, sentence length, the first sentence, whether the headings form a ladder, whether an answer engine can quote it. None of that is taste. It is checkable, it is checked, and you get the numbers along with the writing.

Two of the fourteen free checks are about writing: the first sentence, and how long your sentences run. Run them on your own page.

FAQs

Writing questions

Price, AI, search, Urdu and revisions.

Why does this cost more than a freelance marketplace?

Because it is a different product. Cheap content is produced quickly by somebody who cannot tell you why any sentence is there. If volume is what you need, buy the cheap version — it exists for a reason. Buy this when the page has to actually do something.

Do you use AI?

For research and for arguing with a draft, yes. Not to produce text that gets handed to you unread. Generated copy reads like generated copy and it invents facts confidently, which is a liability rather than a saving.

Will it be optimised for search?

Structured properly, yes: headings that form a ladder, honest meta, internal links that say where they go, and writing an answer engine can quote. Not keyword stuffing, which stopped working and makes pages unpleasant.

Can you write in Urdu?

I can write for a Pakistani audience in English, which is what most local businesses need. Full Urdu copywriting is not something I offer, and I would rather say so than do it adequately.

What if I do not like the draft?

One round of revisions is included and it is genuinely a round, not a single change. If the draft is wrong because the brief was wrong, that is on me and I will rewrite it.

Writing that can explain itself

Every choice on the page has a reason, and you get to hear it.
