Description

About this product

A 2026 mileage log and tax set-aside kit for delivery and rideshare drivers, in Excel, Google Sheets and an offline web page. The IRS raised the 2026 business mileage rate from 72.5 cents to 76 cents a mile on 1 July 2026, so every row picks its rate from the date instead of using one rate for the year.

Log miles, payouts and costs as you go. The Set-aside sheet shows the share of each payout to put aside for 2026 federal tax: self-employment tax plus the extra income tax the driving adds, on top of any W-2 job. The Car costs sheet sets the standard mileage rate beside actual expenses, with the IRS rules on switching, and By quarter splits everything into the four estimated-tax periods.

Inside: the workbook (Set-aside, Mileage log, Earnings log, Expenses log, Car costs, By quarter, Rates, Sources), the same kit as an offline HTML page with CSV download, and a quick-start PDF.

For drivers who deliver or give rides through apps and have no tax taken out. Not connected to any app company.

Estimates for planning only, not tax, legal or financial advice. Rules checked against IRS sources on 2 November 2026; check them before you act.
