Tutoring admin is a spreadsheet, a notes app and a memory of who has paid. It works until the term when it does not, which is usually the term you are busiest.

This holds students, sessions and invoices in one file. Sessions carry a status from enquiry through to invoiced, invoices number themselves and print, and the dashboard shows this month’s income, expenses and profit without you assembling it.

The expense categories are the ones a tutor actually has — textbooks and resources, printing, platforms, travel to students, room hire, DBS and insurance, CPD — because a category list that fits the work is the difference between recording expenses and meaning to.

It is not a lesson planner and it stores nothing about a student beyond a name and a contact. There is no timetable, no video, and no parent portal. It is the money and the record, kept properly.

The most important thing on the page is the button in the corner that says how long since your last backup. It is amber after three days and red after seven, because everything lives in this browser and a lost client list is not a small problem.

There is no compare screen on this one — it holds a term rather than a scenario, so there is nothing to put side by side. Export gives you a plain file and a CSV of your sessions whenever you want them.

One HTML file. No account, no subscription, no internet needed. Opens on Windows, Mac and Android; the readme explains the extra step on iPhone and iPad, where Apple blocks JavaScript in downloaded files and every tool of this kind is affected.

Everything lives in your browser on your device. Nothing is uploaded, which is why it works offline and why nobody else can see your figures — and it also means clearing your browsing data deletes it. The tool does not pretend otherwise: the header shows how long since your last export at all times, turns amber after three days and red after seven, and export is one click that produces a plain file you keep.
