Cleaning Business OS

Most cleaning businesses run on a notebook, a phone’s contacts list and a memory for who has not paid. That works until it does not, and the thing that usually breaks first is invoicing: the work gets done, the invoice gets forgotten, and by the time anybody notices it is awkward to ask.

This is one file that holds the four things that matter. Clients with their address and access notes. Jobs with a date, a price, what they cost you and a status. Invoices with a number that increments on its own, a due date and a paid flag. And expenses, categorised for a cleaning company rather than for a generic business.

The dashboard answers the questions you actually ask: what did I invoice this month, how much of it is still owed, what is overdue and by how many days, and what did I make after expenses. Overdue invoices are listed oldest first, because that is the order you should chase them in.

Each job shows its own margin. That is the number that tells you the weekly office clean at $185 is worth more than the one-off deep clean at $240, which is not obvious until you look.

Everything lives in your browser on your device. Nothing is uploaded, which is why it works with no internet connection and why nobody else can see your clients — and it also means clearing your browsing data deletes it. The tool does not pretend otherwise: the header shows how long since your last export at all times, turns amber after three days and red after seven, and export is one click that produces a plain file you keep. That is the honest trade, and it is stated here rather than discovered later.

One HTML file. No account, no subscription, no internet needed. It opens on Windows, Mac and Android, and the readme explains the extra step on iPhone and iPad, where Apple blocks JavaScript in downloaded files and every tool of this kind is affected.
