Names the mechanism
Not “great branding”. The specific thing being done, what it is called, and the research behind why it works on people.
Most consultants show you six summary cards with a percentage on each. These are complete audits of well-known brands, published in full and free to read. It is the closest thing to watching me work before you decide whether to hire me.
Not “great branding”. The specific thing being done, what it is called, and the research behind why it works on people.
How the psychological move connects to what the business earns, rather than stopping at an interesting observation.
Several of these brands do things I would not advise a client to copy. The audits say so, which is why they are worth reading.
Khaadi, Meezan, HBL, Careem, Jazz, Ufone, Daraz and Foodpanda alongside Netflix, Nike and Tesla — because the Pakistani market is not a footnote to the American one.
Every one is published in full. There is no gated version, no email wall, and no shorter public edition.
All public brands, from public material. Nothing a client told me in confidence appears anywhere in them.
Every one is free to read on this site, complete. Ordered most recent first.

A case study exists to answer one question: can this person actually do the work? A summary card with “+340% conversions” on it does not answer that, because you cannot check it and it tells you nothing about how the person thinks.
Forty-seven complete audits do answer it. You can read one, disagree with it, and decide on that basis — which is a much better way to choose who to hire than trusting a number on a card.
Client work is usually confidential, and a consultant's portfolio is often a list of logos with no way to tell what they actually did. Public brands solve that: the subject is visible to everybody, so the only thing being judged is the quality of the thinking.
They are not case studies in the marketing sense, and they are not brand cheerleading. Each one asks a single question: what is this company doing to the person on the other side, and does it work for the reason everybody assumes?
Often it does not. Several of these audits conclude that the famous explanation for a brand's success is the wrong one, and that something less flattering and more interesting is doing the actual work. Those are the ones worth reading first, because agreeing with a popular story teaches you nothing.
Pick a brand you already know well and see whether you think I got it right. If you disagree with the reasoning, you have learned something useful about whether we would work well together, and you learned it before spending anything.
There is also a free tool that runs fourteen measurable checks on any page in about thirty seconds.

What these audits are, and what they are not.
No, and deliberately. Every one is a public brand audited from public material. No client work appears here, because client work is confidential and a portfolio full of logos tells you nothing about how somebody thinks.
Because it answers the only question that matters when you are choosing who to hire, and a summary card with a percentage on it does not. You can read one, disagree with it, and decide on that basis.
Yes, the first thirty-one are collected into a single 358-page document, grouped by mechanism rather than by brand. The individual articles stay free on this site and the listing says so.
No. Client audits are private. These are public brands precisely so that there is something publishable.
Each is a few days of reading and writing. The published ones average around five thousand words.
The same treatment as the forty-seven above, delivered privately and never published.
